Christmas Blues

The last of my family left this morning. We had a wonderful time while they were here so I have a wee touch of the Christmas Blues today. Part of me has the blues and part of me is enjoying the quiet!

Christmas Eve

We had about 10 inches of snow yesterday and the city was so beautiful it looked like a Christmas card. The tourists were out in droves on the plaza. We saw at least 5 huge snowmen they had built. That had to be tons of fun for people who never get to see snow. We pigged out on breakfast burritos at Tia Sophia's. Yummy!

It's now Christmas Eve and I'm in NO way ready for my company. They are arriving on the 26th so I have two days. I think I can. I think I can. I think I can. I have most of the groceries bought so it's a matter of getting beds ready, etc. I hate making beds. I hate washing sheets. Couldn't someone please invent disposable sheets?

Tomorrow Coop and I will have our Christmas dinner if I don't mess it up. If it turns out horribly we'll have to eat the company food and go shopping again! I hope your Christmas is wonderful!

Tis the season to be......

Tis the season to be jolly? NO. Tis the season to be cleaning..... and cleaning.... and cleaning. Here's how the song should be:
Tis the season to be cleaning. Tra la la la, la la la phooey.

More snow!

When I started this blog I posted a photo of geraniums in the flower box on top the fence. Now the box is filled with snow! I'm worse than a little kid about snow. I love, love, love it! Santa Fe looks like it is covered with a thick layer of marshmallow fluff. It's picture postcard perfect and the snow is still falling.

I uploaded more photos so click here if you'd like to see them.

Snow!!!!

Good honk. I've been a busy beader and totally forgot to blog. I guess I thought Santa's elves would do it for me. I could ask my evil twin Lucretia to blog for me but there is no telling what she would write.

It's snowing today and the city looks so pretty. I love snow! Take a peek at the Plaza web cam. Some of the shots were really pretty this morning. The poor cathedral looks awful. They are repairing the walls and have plastic all around it so the workers can stay warmer.

I have my Christmas tree. I have new ornaments. I bought presents. I bought wrapping paper and ribbon. Beyond that I haven't done diddly. Think I can get everything done in time?
